Building your own search facility within ActiveManage allows you to define scopes which determine the fields within a datastore that should be searched. You can add multiple scopes to a single search to provide a combined search.

If visitors accidentally spell a word incorrectly when searching, ActiveManage can detect this based on the content it has indexed and show search results based on the correct spelling.

The search engine can provide suggestions and auto-complete search query words as your users type.

You can add synonyms to your search to allow the search engine to also search for uses of similar words within the results.
