Platform Features

Authentication

ActiveManage offers it's own user account facility but also integrates seamlessly with 3rd party providers such as Active Directory, Azure AD and Google to name a few.
Authentication
In-Built User Accounts

The platform provides a full user account system out-the-box to allow you to create login accounts for users to control access to your application and ensure accountability for each action performed.
Custom User Fields

You can add your own additional fields to user account records and control whether users can edit these fields themselves or restrict them so that only administrators can access them.
Microsoft Active Directory/Azure AD/LDAP Integration

You can easily link your application to multiple existing domains/tenants within your organisation, to allow your users to be able to log into the system without them having to create a separate account (and having to remember yet another password!). The seamless integration allows you to use all the other benefits of the platform's user system such as security groups etc.
Security Groups

You can create an unlimited number of security groups to streamline providing different levels of access throughout your application. Users can be added to multiple security groups and you can even define security group managers who can control who can be added/removed from each group.
Custom Permissions

You can create custom permissions for a variety of bespoke purposes within your application. You can then assign these permissions to security groups containing users.
2-Factor Authentication (SMS)

For an extra layer of security, you can enable 2FA SMS which sends users an automated text message containing a verification code after entering their username and password which they must input to log in.
Self-service Password Resets

Optionally allow users of your applications to be able to reset their own passwords, using password reset links that are via. e-mail.
Account End Dates

Configure accounts to automatically expire once a certain date is reached.
2-Factor Authentication (TOTP)

For an extra layer of security, you can enable 2FA TOTP which requires users to input a verification code from their TOTP app, such as Google Authenticator/Microsoft Authenticator, after entering their username and password which they must input to log in.
Password-less Logins

To provide the most efficient way of creating an account as well as removing the requirement of choosing a password, you can enable Login Links which simply requires that the user enter their e-mail address. The platform then sends an unique URL to their mailbox, once clicked it will instantly log them in to your application. You can add whitelist domains so that only e-mail addresses from yours and your clients organisations are allowed access.
